"Trafficking in CF Therapies"?

*Distinguished Lecturer*

CF modulator therapies have provided unprecedented hope for 90% of people with CF. However, they do not achieve full restoration of CFTR activity, and past experience suggests that chronic infections may persist in a significant number of patients, along with GI and other symptoms. So the search is not over. We have identified CFTR endosomal trafficking as a point of intervention that complements existing modulators, and will discuss some novel inhibitor design strategies.
