Severe, drug-resistant asthma is a growing public health issue in the United States and worldwide, creating a large burden on the health care system. The goal of my work is to understand aberrant immune responses in severe asthma and identify
targets for the development of new therapeutic approaches
. This presentation will discuss role of immune mediators of IL-22 signaling in severe asthma, focusing on IL-22 binding protein.
