“DNA damage response in cancer immunity”

We study how DNA damage signaling controls DNA metabolism in unperturbed cells. We are particularly interested in mechanisms that control DNA replication in cancer and immune cells. These are of fundamental importance as high fidelity DNA replication was essential for the origin of species. These are of clinical importance since the majority of chemotherapies target DNA replication.
